UNC Charlotte’s MBA has once again been recognized as a top program in the nation by CEO Magazine. The Belk College of Business’ MBA was named a “Tier 1” program for North American universities in the newly released 2018 CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings.

UNC Charlotte consistently has placed among top part-time MBA programs nationally and internationally. In 2016 and 2017, the Belk College’s MBA was ranked a “Tier 1” program by CEO Magazine. The Belk College’s MBA has also been ranked the No. 20 part-time MBA in the nation by Bloomberg Businessweek and in the top 25% of the nation’s best part-time MBA programs by U.S. News & World Report.

“We are proud to be recognized again as a ‘Tier 1’ MBA program by CEO Magazine. The continued successes of our Belk College students, alumni, faculty and staff directly contribute to this distinction. They are the foundation behind the strong reputation of our Belk College’s MBA program,” said Dr. Dolly King, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Programs.

CEO Magazine examines the key qualities of an MBA: quality of faculty, cost, class size, professional development, international exposure and delivery methods. Using a ranking system entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria, CEO Magazine aims to provide potential students with a performance benchmark for universities.

“Our MBA program continues to evolve, contribute to the Charlotte business community, and adapt to the needs of working professionals. It offers a top-quality experience, strong return on investment and a high level of flexibility,” Dr. King added.

Based at UNC Charlotte Center City in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, the University’s MBA program now enrolls over 300 students. With a 90 percent employment rate, UNC Charlotte MBA graduates enjoy an average salary increase of $20,000.

The launch of a hybrid MBA format in the fall of 2016 has afforded students the additional flexibility of learning online and collaborating face-to-face at UNC Charlotte’s Center City campus. With concentrations in such thriving industries as energy, commercial banking, real estate finance and business analytics, students can design an individualized program that realizes their professional goals.
