Kelly McPhilliamy is a Managing Director at Citigroup and Head of Health and Beauty within the Global Consumer and Retail Investment Banking Group. She has over 25 years of experience providing strategic and financial advice to founders, public and private companies, and financial investors on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and capital structure.

Over her career, Kelly has advised on many of the disruptive transactions in the Health and Beauty sector, including DUDE Wipes’ investment from TSG Consumer, Tangle Teezer’s sale to BIC, BELLAMI Hair’s sale to Beauty Industry Group, Colgate-Palmolive’s acquisition of skincare brand EltaMD, Dermstore’s sale to Target, in addition to leading initial public offerings for e.l.f. Beauty and Ulta Beauty.

Kelly joined Citi from Harris Williams, where she built the Health and Beauty effort. Kelly has also held roles at Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley, and she began her investment banking career at Merrill Lynch.

She earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Kelly serves on the boards of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), the Belk Collegeof Business and the Board of Visitors at UNC Charlotte.  She is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
