Women in Business Leadership Summit Powered by Ally

Join us for the annual Women in Business Leadership Development Summit Powered by Ally Financial this fall! 

October 25, 2024 | Noon – 4:30 p.m.
The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City

This event will include a lunch and keynote speaker (Carol Lowe ’87), breakout learning sessions, and networking. Space is limited for this in-person event, so apply early. 

Student Applicants

Two $500 scholarships and one $2,000 Boylan-Ott scholarship will be awarded to students who apply for and attend this event. Both the Boylan-Ott Scholarship and at least one $500 scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate business student. The awards will be announced live at the event, and you must be present at the event to win. By applying for this event, you are committing to in-person attendance on October 25, 2024.

This opportunity will be awarded based on the content, style, and independent insight of your statement on the following: 

Share an example of a leadership role you have undertaken, either in school, work, or the community. Explain how this experience has influenced your career aspirations in business and how you plan to leverage your education to make a positive impact on the business world, particularly in advancing women’s roles in leadership. Please keep your response between 225-275 words and upload a Word document or PDF. 

A detailed itinerary and light rail/parking instructions will be shared with registered attendees closer to the event. Registration will close at midnight on Friday, October 11, unless the event fills before that time.
