Dr. Denis Arnold, Professor of Management and Surtman Distinguished Professor of Business Ethics, shares tips for management about fairness and bonuses in BBC Capital’s Work Ethic column, considering the ethical and interpersonal dilemmas that workers face around the world. Arnold’s research focuses on business ethics, sustainability, and public policy. He has published extensively on ethical issues in international business, including labor practices in off-shore factories, business and human rights, and business relations with base of the pyramid populations. His publications include over 20 journal articles, numerous book chapters, and six books.
