Sarah Cacciabaudo

Sarah Cacciabaudo serves as Senior Director for the Accounting and Finance division of Vaco Charlotte, where she focuses on recruiting and business development for opportunities in the Charlotte metro market. Originally from New York, she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from Wake Forest University before making North Carolina her permanent home. After graduation, she obtained her CPA license.

Cacciabaudo began her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young, concentrating on domestic and international tax provision, tax compliance and tax planning projects across various industries. She later served as a domestic tax accountant at a multinational, publicly traded manufacturing company. Passionate about helping students learn, she quickly became interested in teaching as an adjunct in the Turner School of Accountancy.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking trails around Charlotte and exploring new restaurants.
