Belk College, Federal Reserve Bank experts discuss the future of financial services, consumer affairs

The Belk College of Business and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond hosted a panel discussion, “Moving Forward in the New Economy,” on Sept. 23.

Panelists included John Connaughton, professor of economics in the Belk College;Judson Russell, assistant professor of finance, and Joan Garton, assistant vice president for supervision and regulation at the Federal Reserve Bank.

Other program participants included Joe Mazzola, dean of the Belk College; Matt Martin, senior vice president in charge of the Charlotte office of the Fed; and Carl McNeely, regional community developmentmanager at the Fed and a graduate of the Belk College.
