Students, alumnus make Charlotte Inno ‘Under 25’ list

Two Belk College of Business students and a recent graduate have been named to the Charlotte Inno’s 2020 “Under 25” list of young tech leaders.

These “most promising and notable entrepreneurs” are:

  • Adonis Abdullah, a Belk College senior double majoring in Business Analytics and Marketing. Abdullah, a Belk Scholar and Crown Scholar, is the founder of Hot Route Analytics

  • Miguel Avila ‘18, UNC Charlotte’s first Venture for America Fellow, a two-year program for recent college graduates who want to pursue a career in entrepreneurship or a startup environment.

  • Samra Kanwal, a sophomore who is part of the Business Honors Program and a Levine Scholar. She is the founder and CEO of Volunto, which digitally facilitates and connects nonprofits in need with volunteers.

The three are among eight UNC Charlotte students or recent graduates who made the list.
