John Tuders

Dr. John Tuders is an educator, consultant, and proud UNC Charlotte alumnus who has spent more than two decades helping students and executives maximize their two greatest assets: time and relationships. Guided by his philosophy to “deposit more into relationships than he withdraws,” Tuders brings this relational approach into every area of his work.

He has taught in the Belk College of Business for more than 13 years, leading graduate and undergraduate courses in executive communication, design thinking, human behavior in organizations, consumer behavior, and marketing research. His teaching bridges the classroom and the boardroom, inspiring students to apply their learning to real-world leadership and organizational challenges.

Beyond academia, Tuders brings over 30 years of corporate and start-up experience. His career includes roles with organizations such as the New York Yankees and Bank of America, and he currently serves as a Founding Partner of Cabin Consulting, a strategic digital design and development firm based in Charlotte.

Tuders earned both his MBA and DBA from UNC Charlotte. He and his wife, Lisa, are proud parents of three children—all of whom are current or former UNC Charlotte students.
