Heather Cummens

Heather Cummens is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Business Information Systems and Operations Management (BISOM) at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. She also serves as a Business and Technical Application Analyst at UNC Charlotte.

Cummens joined BISOM in 2020 and brings expertise in project management, website development, editing, accessibility, business computing and data analysis. Her dual role supports the integration of practical experience into the classroom, and in 2025, she received the Belk College of Business Excellence in Part-time Teaching Award.
