Hamid Reza Baradaran Shoraka

Hamid Reza Baradaran Shoraka is an economist with more than 40 years of experience in academia, research, and consulting. His areas of expertise include macroeconomics, microeconomics, managerial economics, money and banking, financial systems, corporate finance, planning and budgeting, international trade, and futures studies.

His career spans academic leadership and applied policy work. At Allameh Tabatabai University in Iran, he served as associate professor of economics, dean of the College of Economics, and chair of the Department of Economics. Internationally, he has taught and conducted research as a visiting associate professor at the University of Florida and currently serves as part-time faculty at UNC Charlotte.

Beyond teaching and research, Baradaran Shoraka has contributed to strategic planning and national policy development through roles at the Center for Strategic Research and the Social Security Organization. He has published books and numerous journal articles on economic growth, trade, and development.

His professional passion lies in bridging theory and practice to guide policy, planning, and economic transformation at both national and international levels.
