Belk College Day 2015

The Belk College Alumni Council hosted the third annual Belk College Day celebration on Friday, October 2. Alumni and friends enjoyed the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association’s tailgate village in the Hauser Alumni Pavilion with food, music, a bounce house, the team walk and a complimentary Belk College Day souvenir. Alumni were then seated in Jerry Richardson Stadium together for the Charlotte 49er’s first Friday night football game against the Temple University Owls.

Alumni joined Dean Ott and the Alumni Council at the Tailgate along with twenty student scholarship recipients. The Belk College Alumni Council Chair, Tim Ralston ’09, delivered the game ball before kick-off and students thanked Belk College alumni for giving in an on-field presentation during the second half. Faculty member Dr. Ted Amato also received an award on the field during the UNC Charlotte Faculty Recognition presentation.
