Women in Business Alumni Luncheon

Belk College Women in Business

Belk College of Business alumni and friends were invited to join us for the spring Women in Business networking luncheon featuring a presentation by executive coach and Belk College alumna Heidi Hansen ’95 Management entitled, “Purposeful Networking: Dismantle Fear, Build Confidence, Be Effective.”

Heidi’s talk explained that networking can be intimidating. We are often placed in business environments where the ability to effectively network is imperative to building key professional relationships. Given the plethora of professional women networking organizations in our community, alumni learned best practices on ways introverts can connect, how extroverts can be effective, and how to build confidence and dismantle fears to reach desired outcomes.

The luncheon was complimentary, though alumni support for our Belk College Women in Business Initiative was appreciated. Belk College Women in Business donors were recognized at the event by ribbons on their name badge. You can still make a gift of any amount by clicking here!
