C-Suite Speaker Series

The C-Suite Speaker Series features alumni and friends of the college who are in leadership positions (at the level of CEO, partner, chairman, etc.). The series brings business leaders to the UNC Charlotte campus to present to and interact with undergraduate and graduate students. This series is organized several times a year by the Belk College of Business external relations team and the Niblock Student Center, which prepares graduates to enter a business career and become leaders in the workplace and the community. Through their stories, successes, and lessons, speakers of the C-Suite Speaker Series provide a transformational experience for students.

Fall 2026 Speaker: Eric Seidel ’90

Eric Seidel is senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Honeywell. In this role, he is responsible for driving organic growth through commercial excellence and enhancing global sales capabilities to support customers across automation, energy transition and aviation.

Most recently, Seidel served as vice president and general manager of Lifecycle Solutions and Services within the Honeywell Process Solutions unit. Prior to that, he was vice president and general manager of UOP Lifecycle Solutions and Technologies. He also previously served as chief marketing officer and vice president of strategy for Honeywell Process Solutions.

Before joining Honeywell in 2017, Seidel held multiple leadership roles at Ingersoll Rand, focusing on business leadership, product management and digital IIoT strategies. In those roles, he helped drive the company’s transformation from transactional to outcome-based business models. Earlier in his career, he worked in the renewable energy sector.

Seidel holds an MBA from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from UNC Charlotte. He serves on the UNC Charlotte Board of Advisors and was honored with the 2025 Belk College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his professional achievements and contributions to the UNC Charlotte community.

Seidel resides in Mooresville, North Carolina, with his wife, Areerat, and their six children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on Lake Norman and attending sporting events with his family.
