Artie Zillante
Artie Zillante joined the Department of Economics in the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Fall 2006. In 2004 he received his Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University. From 2004-2006 he was the International Foundation for Research in Experimental Economics (IFREE) Visiting Post-Doctoral Scholar at the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science (ICES) at George Mason University. His research focuses on using laboratory economic experiments to test economic theories. Additionally, he is interested in the use of economic experiments as an educational tool. His research has been published in leading journals such as Games and Economic Behavior, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and Economic Inquiry. He is the Chair of the Department of Economics and Interim Director of the Turner School of Accountancy.
