Dr. Camelia R. Taheri Protzel is a Lecturer in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte, with more than 10 years of experience teaching undergraduate courses in marketing and management. She is passionate about cultivating innovative leaders and professionals who drive positive impact in their communities.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Dr. Taheri has held leadership roles in global branding, integrated marketing, and strategic program development across the United States and Latin America. Her research explores the intersection of emerging technologies, consumer behavior, and segmentation strategies, with her doctoral work introducing a genomics-based psychographic segmentation model.

She is a strong advocate for leveraging technology and global perspectives to create new opportunities for students and professionals through cross-functional partnerships.
