
Charles Bodkin joined the UNC Charlotte faculty in 1991 and taught retailing management, marketing concepts, marketing strategy, and marketing management. His research interests include retailing, consumer behavior, and Internet marketing. His research has appeared in several journals including Industrial Marketing Management, the Journal of Marketing Management, The International Review of Retail, Distribution and Consumer Research and Corporate Communications: An International Journal, for which he won Outstanding Paper for the year 2000. Dr. Bodkin received the Belk College’s Outstanding Service Award in 1999 and the Gray’s M.B.A. Faculty Teaching Award for 2000-01. He is a past president of the Charlotte Chapter of the American Marketing Association, has served on various committees throughout the Charlotte business community, and is a member of numerous professional associations.
