Cindi Basenspiler has more than 20 years of leadership experience across for‑profit and nonprofit organizations, as well as service as a commissioned officer and helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army. She has taught management courses at UNC Charlotte and Johns Hopkins University since 2018.

After leading HR, HR operations and organization development departments at several large companies with up to 50,000 employees for 11 years, Basenspiler became the leader of Veterans Bridge Home, a North Carolina-based nonprofit. She built the team from the ground up and developed community relationships with organizations and individuals serving military veterans. Under her leadership, the organization expanded from a local startup to a nationally recognized multi‑state program, forming partnerships with more than 70 community nonprofits and more than 60 employers to coordinate services for veterans transitioning to the Charlotte metro area.

Basenspiler founded On‑Point Advisory, LLC in 2015, providing coaching and leadership development for individuals and teams across the country. She has coached hundreds of individuals, leaders and teams to improve performance, outcomes and overall effectiveness. She also consults for private equity and venture capital firms, conducting leadership assessments, talent‑related due diligence, executive coaching and ongoing organizational development and HR strategy support for their startup portfolios.
