Dimuthu Ratnadiwakara is a senior financial economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. His research examines banking, household finance, fintech and real estate, with published or forthcoming work in the Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Financial Management and the Journal of Financial Services Research. Before joining the Richmond Fed in 2024, he was an assistant professor of finance at Louisiana State University, where he taught fintech, financial analytics and empirical methods in corporate finance at the undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D. levels.
