Gagan Ghosh

Gagan Ghosh joined the Belk College of Business in 2026. He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Iowa in 2012 under the mentorship of Srihari Govindan. His research is in the areas of game theory and applied microeconomic theory, with particular emphasis on market design topics such as auction and matching markets. He also has research interests in studying these markets empirically, using tools from structural econometrics and experimental economics. His work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior and the International Journal of Industrial Organization.
