Gena De Chant is a business and professional development instructor in the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte and a compassionate executive with more than 25 years of experience in leadership, organizational development, and change management. After a successful corporate career with top-tier organizations including Wells Fargo, she now leverages her industry expertise to help students thrive.

De Chant has led impactful change across a range of organizations, designing and implementing programs, workflow tools, and portals that enhance learning, boost productivity, and foster high levels of engagement. Career highlights include establishing a travel service for a global manufacturing company, leading new-talent programs to onboard and develop recent college graduates in banking, managing Wachovia-Wells Fargo business online banking customer conversions, and directing change management initiatives for the Business Banking Group. She also led the InfoCenter Portal management teams, helping bankers support commercial clients and mitigate risk.
