Jackson Clay is an accounting professional in public accounting with Ernst & Young. He serves clients as a technical accounting advisor and is considered a subject matter expert in financial instruments, derivatives and hedging, business combinations and consolidation. Clay brings these experiences into the classroom to provide students with meaningful insights into public company filings and U.S. GAAP standards. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he earned his Master of Accounting from the Kenan‑Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill, where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class. Clay is also a Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina.
