Ted Amato teaches in the undergraduate, MBA and Master of Science in Economics programs. Dr. Amato’s teaching interests are in the areas of microeconomic theory, industrial organization and public policy, managerial economics, and econometrics. His research specialties focus on the structure-performance relationship in industrial economics and the determinants of productivity growth in U.S. manufacturing. Dr. Amato joined the Belk College faculty in 1980. Dr. Amato is an affiliate faculty member with the Doctorate in Business Administration program.
