LaShana Wiggs
LaShana Wiggs is a lecturer in the Department of Management at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. She joined the college as an adjunct professor in fall 2022 and was elevated to a full-time role in fall 2025.
With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Wiggs has held leadership roles at Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank. She is an expert in Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance, risk operations and fraud prevention. Her focus areas include regulatory compliance, organizational transformation and leadership development.
Wiggs is also an entrepreneur and serves as principal consultant of a firm specializing in human-centered change and organizational transformation. She holds several professional certifications, including Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), SHRM-CP in human resource management and Certified Behavioral Specialist.
