Mark Heekin is Senior Counsel with Retail Business Services, an Ahold Delhaize USA company, which operates five supermarket chains and in the South and Eastern United States. He practices in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate, mergers & acquisitions, and  commercial law. Prior to his work with ADUSA, Heekin was a tenured Professor of Law, teaching courses including Property, Real Estate Finance, Advanced Contracts Drafting Seminar, Business Organizations, Conflicts of Law and Remedies. Heekin’s research interests include real estate finance law, foreclosure practice, land title recording law, and amateur and intercollegiate athletics. He is widely published, most recently in the Journal of Securities & Business Law. Heekin’s prior teaching experience includes institutions in North Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is also admitted to the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
