Richard M. Conboy

Associate Professor Emeritus of Management

Rick Conboy joined the Belk College faculty in 1979 as an assistant professor of management. He was named assistant dean in 1983 and was promoted to associate dean of the Belk College in 1987, holding that position until 2004. Additionally, Dr. Conboy served as interim associate dean for international programs in 2004-2005 and again from 2010-2012. Dr. Conboy is interested in issues related to the management of schools of business, including strategic planning and management of accreditation. Active in the global business community, his primary area of teaching is strategic management.
