Shakila Reid

Shakila Reid is a lecturer in the Turner School of Accountancy at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Francis Marion University and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of North Carolina.

With more than a decade of experience in the accounting and audit industry, Reid brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the classroom. For the past five years, her professional focus has been in external auditing, specializing in financial institutions. Her experience provides students with valuable insights into the real-world applications of auditing principles and financial analysis.
