Doug Cooper joined the Belk College faculty in 1985. Prior to that, he was associate professor of operations research at N.C. State University. Dr. Cooper has consulted with over 200 major national and international companies, held the position of vice president for operations in two large manufacturing companies, and held staff management positions in operations and systems auditing for a large international company. His teaching interests lie in the area of operations management and decision support systems.
