Don't wait! Now is the time to get your reference list ready and ask for letters of recommendation. Employers and graduate schools both value being able to gain perspective on who you are from your references and/or your letters of recommendation, but don't wait until you need to provide a list or letter to ask. In this meetup, you will discuss strategies to secure these important items!

About the Presenter
David is the Assistant Director of Professional Development and the Business Honors and Belk Scholars Programs at the Belk School of Business. He holds a Bachelor in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and a Master of Arts in Urban Leadership from UNLV's Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. David is a researcher in food economy and production who advocates for municipal food production and free distribution as a critical component to solving the issues of chronic hunger, poverty, and climate change. One year ago David and his family relocated from Las Vegas to Charlotte seeking new opportunities and a literal change of scenery. He has fallen in love with his new home and hopes to make a lasting impact in the local community from within the Belk College of Business.
