What is your favorite thing about living in the Charlotte area?
My favorite thing about living in Charlotte is the large amount of small businesses located around the city. I love being able to support local shops!
What are your career goals for the future?
I would like to combine my interests in Business Analytics and entrepreneurship to build a sustainable small business. The Business Honors Program professional development meetings have introduced me to small business owners who share the same interests as me!
What opportunities has the Business Honors Program provided to you?
The Business Honors Program has given me the opportunity to develop leadership skills through my participation on the Executive Board. The program also provides mentorship to new students, which has allowed me to witness the effects of a tight-knit community.
What is your favorite benefit from being an honors student at UNC Charlotte?
I've been able to develop my critical thinking skills through some of the honors courses I've taken so far. Additionally, the honors program has allowed me to connect with my community through service learning experiences.
What advice would you give to prospective students interested in Business Honors Program?
Be sure to showcase your most authentic self on your application. Don't be afraid to show off your strengths!
