Dean Jennifer Troyer
LET'S CONNECT.
It's my honor to greet you as the seventh dean of UNC Charlotte's Belk College of Business.
In addition to my role as the Dean, I have served the college as a professor of economics and in administrative roles for over 20 years. My research focus on health economics has given me a unique perspective as the University has managed through this global pandemic.
The past year has been challenging, but it has also been a milestone for our college as we saw record enrollment and celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Belk College and our nationally ranked MBA program. We are also focused on longer-term goals, developing a bold five-year strategic plan for the Belk College with a vision to become a leading urban research business school.
If you are not yet familiar with UNC Charlotte, I am excited to share our story.
We’re located in one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation and the second-largest banking hub in the United States. To grow at pace with our region and drive solutions to industry challenges, the Belk College has further intensified our investment into producing actionable research by attracting and retaining top faculty over the past two decades. As North Carolina’s urban research business school, we have developed deep connections with our business community over more than 50 years. I’m excited to leverage those connections and to make new connections with new partners as Charlotte grows.
