interim Dean TAO-HSIEN DOLLY KING

I am honored to serve as Interim Dean for the Belk College of Business and the Rush S. Dickson Professor of Finance, as we focus on our growth and evolution as a leading urban research business school.Interim Dean DOlly King

I joined the Belk College in 2006, drawn to the dynamic and progressive nature of the college. Since then, I have served in a number of administrative posts including as chair of the Department of Finance and associate dean for graduate programs and research. I have contributed to national and international research in my discipline, while also mentoring a significant number of students and emerging scholars. I have learned first-hand how important it is to work intentionally and collaboratively toward our shared aspirations.

In the Belk College, we are proud of the successes of our faculty and staff, and of our students and alumni. We continue to make important strides in achieving our college’s long-term goals, as set forth in our five-year strategic plan. We remain focused on working together to create solutions to industry challenges, with a sharp focus on action-oriented research and teaching. As the state’s urban research business college, located in one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions that is home to 10 Fortune 500 companies, the Belk College is essential to our mutual success. We look forward to continuing to drive business in Charlotte and beyond!
