Kerr appointed director of undergraduate student affairs

Daryl Kerr, formerly an associate professor of management in the Belk College, has accepted the position of director of undergraduate student affairs.

In this position, Kerr will supervise the Advising Center staff, serve as director of the Business Honors Program, and coordinate other matters related to undergraduate curriculum and student advising.

Kerr has performed a similar roleon interim basissince August, following the death ofassociate dean Dr. Jack Hoguein an automobile accident.

"Daryl has done a very good job of filling the void in the College's managerial team created by the untimely passing of Jack Hogue,"said Belk College Dean Claude Lilly. "I am glad that Daryl is willing to undertake the challenge of providing leadership for the undergraduate program. "
