UNC Charlotte, University of Cambridge to host real estate symposium
The Center for Real Estate at UNC Charlotte and the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge (UK) will host a symposium on property derivatives and risk management, June 12 to 14, 2006 at Madingley Hall at the University of Cambridge.
According to Richard Buttimer, associate professor of finance and real estate in the Belk College of Business, the purpose of the symposium is to provide a forum for real estate academics to present recent research to a small, select audience of their peers. The esteemed Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics will devote a special issue to the Symposium.
Conference organizers have issued a call for papers for the symposium; the deadline for submission is March 15, 2006.
