Charlotte CREW raises scholarship funds for Belk College

The Commercial Real Estate Women of Charlotterecentlyraised $3,000 for a scholarshipfund to benefitstudentsstudying real estate finance and development in the M.B.A. program at UNC Charlotte.

CREW Charlotte's Community Relations Committee organized the Red, Black and White Casino Night on May 17. More than 140 people attended the event, which was held at the historic Palmer Building in the Elizabeth neighborhood.

The scholarshipfunds wereraised through a raffle of donated items coordinated by Marianne Joines of Investors Title Co. Jennifer Davis of BL Patch & Associates and Stacie Jacobs of The Title Co. of North Carolina are CREW Charlotte Community Relations co-chairs.

CREW Charlotte, which has 150 members, is a local chapter of the national CREW women's organization.
