Belk College to co-sponsor business ethics lecture Feb. 22

The Center for Professional and Applied Ethics, the Department of Philosophy, and the Belk College of Business are co-sponsoring a public lecture by Patricia H. Werhane, Ph.D., on Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. in Storrs 110. Her lecture is titled “Moral Imagination, System Analysis, and Globalization.”

Werhane is Ruffin Professor of Business Ethics and Senior Fellow of the Olsson Center for Applied Ethics. She holds a joint appointment at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and at DePaul University where she is Wicklander Chair in Business Ethics and Director of the Institute for Business and Professional Ethics. Werhane teaches Ethics Courses in the Darden M.B.A. program and heads the school’s Doctoral Program Operating Committee.
