Supporters and friends of the Center for Real Estate at UNC Charlotte will gather at the Duke Mansion on Monday, Nov. 17 to conclude the Center’s “Developing Talent, Building the Future” fundraising campaign.

The campaign celebration, which begins at 6 p.m., will recognize contributors and volunteers to the $4 million fundraising effort. Campaign co-chairs Todd Mansfield (Crosland) and Fred Klein (Childress Klein Properties) will announce the total raised during the campaign, which kicked off in May. More than $3.2 million was raised during the quiet phase of fundraising prior to the kick-off.

Contributions to the campaign will help expand the Center’s academic and research programs. UNC Charlotte offers a concentration in real estate at the M.B.A. level as well as a post-graduate certificate program. The Center also conducts research on issues related to real estate, addressing topics ranging from tax increment financing to public-private partnerships in school construction to the impact of public transit on development. The Center’s website is www.realestate.uncc.edu.
