Community leaders to discuss Charlotte’s future at ‘NHEO Talks’ event, Dec. 7
Ten top business and community leaders, including Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx and Charlotte Chamber President Bob Morgan, will participate in an interactive panel discussion Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Discovery Place (301 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte).
The program, NHEO Talks: Building a Shared Vision for 2020 was created by the National Hispanic Entrepreneurs’ Organization (NHEO) to provide a platform for dialogue centered around Charlotte’s future. The Belk College of Business is an event sponsor.
The event will begin at 5:30 PM with a welcome reception and networking. The program will take place from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, with additional networking to follow.
Registration for the event is online at nheotalks. Tickets are $25 each if purchased on or before November 16 and $35 each thereafter. Preferred-seating VIP tickets are $60 each. All tickets include free parking in the Discovery Place deck and a $25 gift card that can be used to make a donation via the online charitable organization DonorsChoose.org.
NHEO has several incentives available for university students, including a 20 percent discount for NHEO Talks tickets as well as a competitive scholarship program through which selected students receive complimentary admission to the NHEO Talks event, a three-year membership in the NHEO, and access to mentoring.
