MBA Program plans recruiting tour of India
Jeremiah Nelson, director of professionalstudent services in the Belk College of Business, will travel to India later this month to connect with prospective M.B.A. students.
Nelson, along with Greet Provoost, assistant dean for international admissions at UNC Charlotte, will participate in admissions fairs and conduct individual student interviews in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi January 11-19.
While UNC Charlotte has always been a popular school forIndian students, Nelson says an internal policy change will make the UNC Charlotte M.B.A. an even more attractive option for M.B.A. candidates.
“The European and Indian systems of education generally awardthree-year degrees for business,” he said. “Now that we canaccepta Bachelor of Commerce degreeas the equivalent to a U.S. bachelors degree, it greatly expands our pool of prospective students.”
