UNC Charlotte chapter of Net Impact launches with May 14 program
The new UNC Charlotte chapter of Net Impact, “a global network of leaders who are changing the world through business,” will hold its first program this Thursday, May 14 at UNC Charlotte Uptown (220 N. Tryon Street, 3rd Floor).
Networking will begin at 5:30 PM; the program will begin at 6:00 PM. The program is open to students, faculty, staff and alumni.
The event will feature two guest speakers from the Corporate Workplace Division at Bank of America, Lisa Shpritz and Ben Yow. Both Shpritz and Yow are LEED Accredited Professionals who are involved with issues related to environmental compliance, sustainable engineering and the business considerations of LEED certification in the bank’s new and existing work sites.
There is no charge to attend this program. To ensure an accurate headcount, RSVP to Rebecca Waters at rwaters8@uncc.edu at your earliest convenience if you plan to attend. Parking is available in the deck at 201 N. Tryon Street, andparking tickets will be validated at the uptown center.
