The Financial Engineer ranks UNC Charlotte’s M.S. in Economics program No. 58 in the nation.

UNC Charlotte’s Master of Science in Economics program ranked No. 58 in the 2016 Economics Rankings by The Financial Engineer.

This is a strong improvement from last year’s ranking of the program, which was previously ranked No. 93. The rankings are calculated based on a series of factors, including GRE scores, incoming GPAs, acceptance rate, employment after graduation and average starting salary.

This ranking signifies the dedication and accomplishments of our students, faculty and alumni,” said Dr. Craig Depken, director of the M.S. in Economics program at UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business.

The M.S. in Economics program at UNC Charlotte helps students hone their research skills and sharpen analytical abilities in the heart of a thriving business region. The program currently enrolls 56 students and has a strong track record for placing alums in Fortune 500 firms, government jobs, and PhD programs.
