Belk College announces administrative changes

Belk College of Business Dean Joe Mazzola has announced a restructuring in the college administration, renaming and redefining two associate dean positions.

The position formerly known as Associate Dean of the College will now be Associate Dean for Faculty and Research.Dr. John Gandar will continue to serve in the Associate Dean’s position as it has been newly renamed and redefined. Within this restructuring, oversight of the budget and business operations of the College will continue to fall within the scope of this position.

The position formerly known as Associate Dean for Professional and Global Programs will now be Associate Dean for Graduate Programs. Dr. Christie Amato (pictured), professor of marketing, has been appointedas the Interim Associate Dean for Graduate Programs. The College will conduct a formal search to fillthe position during the2009-10academic year, and thesearch committee will be formed and announced at that time.
