Steven Ott, the John Crosland Jr. professor of real estate in the Belk College of Business and director of the Center for Real Estate at UNC Charlotte, is leading a professional development workshop for the Urban Land Institute (ULI) August 24-25 in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ott is the lead instructor for "Valuation and Acquisition Strategies in a Distressed Market," which is designed forexperienced real estate asset managers, investors and owners; commercial real estate lenders; and REIT professionals.
Considered a top researcher in real estate finance and development, Dr. Ott has served as an Academic Fellow for ULI,providing intellectual leadership for thenonprofit education and research institute which focuses on issues related to real estate, land use and public policy.
