University Career Center recognizes Kerr as Career Champion

Daryl Kerr, director for undergraduate student services in the Belk College of Business, recently received the Faculty Career Champion Award by the UNC Charlotte Career Center.

Awarded annually, the Faculty Career Champion Award recognizesfaculty members for their commitment to career development issues, their championship of career related services and programs, their efforts to increase employer connections on-campus and their overall commitment to a quality University educational experience inside and outside the classroom.

“Darylhas been instrumental in leading programs to continually promote the advancement of undergraduate education, professional skill development and career exploration for our students,” said April Gonzalez, associate director of the University Career Center. “In my timeworking withDaryl, I have witnessed his sincere dedication to the students that he serves, his commitment to a quality undergraduate educational experience, and his genuine, personable approach.”
