Introducing the MBA Student Ambassadors
Greetings from the MBA Ambassador team! My name is Kelly Lorton and I am completing my first year in the MBA program at the Belk College of Business. I am originally from Minnesota, but I moved down to North Carolina after completing my undergraduate degree at Drake University in 2016. After working for a few years I realized that I wanted to pursue my graduate degree, and UNC Charlotte quickly proved itself to be the perfect choice for me.
My time at UNC Charlotte has reaffirmed my passion for learning, increased my confidence and expanded my network in the Charlotte area. I have enjoyed being able to take topics we have learned in class and directly apply them to my role as a Business Initiatives Consultant. I don’t know where my career will take me, but I am certain that the skills I am learning today will translate into my future business goals.
As a Student Ambassador for the MBA program, I have enjoyed the opportunity to interact with potential new students, like you, and help answer questions about the program.
