Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Al Ghosh

Dr. Al Ghosh, Distinguished Professor of Accounting, joined UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business in 2019, bringing many years of global experience to the Turner School of Accountancy. In 2016, Dr. Ghosh was awarded the Fulbright Distinguished Chair by the U.S. State Department and Fulbright Finland. He has also served as an Accounting Academic Fellow for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He has published in a variety of leading accounting and finance journals. Outside of the world of academia, Al Ghosh is an advisor on accounting, auditing, and finance matters to several leading hedge funds and other financial institutions in the United States and around the world.
