Magazine: Four Belk College Alumni Among State’s Most Influential
Four Belk College of Business alumni are among the most influential leaders in North Carolina, according to Business North Carolina.
The statewide publication’s inaugural Power List of most influential leaders in 18 industries features:
· Scott Carlton ’97 MBA, president of Tokai Carbon GE.
· Chris Peek ’93, president of CaroMont Health.
· Rebecca Whitmarsh ’11 MBA, area director of operations for Northwood Hospitality
· John Cato ’73, chairman and president of the Cato Corp.
UNC Charlotte Chancellor Sharon L. Gaber also was named to the list and featured among North Carolina’s top educational leaders.
In addition, Belk College Board of Advisors member Malcomb Coley, U.S. central growth market leader and Charlotte managing partner for EY, also was named to the list.
In total, 10 UNC Charlotte alumni were featured on the list. The Power List is available online and part of the May issue of the magazine.
