Belk College Again Ranks Among Top Business Schools

UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business now ranks among the top 20 public business schools in the Southeast, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2022 Undergraduate Rankings.

The Belk College jumped 10 spots from last year, tied for 106th overall and among the top three public business schools in North Carolina.

The undergraduate “Best Business Schools” rankings, published on Sept. 13, are based on a survey of deans and senior faculty at AACSB-accreditated peer institutions.

Top Performer for Social Mobililty

U.S. News also recognized UNC Charlotte overall as a top performer for social mobility, rising to no. 47 among national universities, a 15-spot increase over last year. The ranking measures the size of the student population receiving Pell Grants and how well universities performed in graduating those individuals.

The University also ranks as one of the most innovative universities in the nation.

This is just one of several recent accolades for Belk College.

In March, the college’s professional MBA ranked among top part-time programs in the nation, according to U.S. News. The MBA program also recently was named for the sixth year in a row a “Tier 1 Global” program by CEO Magazine.

The Belk College offers one of the largest and most diverse undergraduate business programs in the Carolinas with more than 4,000 students enrolled this fall in nine undergraduate majors.
