Online MBA awareness campaign features alumni, students

A marketing campaign featuring Belk College of Business alumni and graduate students launched recently to raise awareness for the new Charlotte Online MBA.

To support awareness and enrollment for the new program, six Master of Business Administration alumni and four graduate students are featured in a new digital marketing campaign, developed in collaboration between University Communications and Fuseideas, which also developed Charlotte’s recent Shaping What’s Next campaign, part of the University’s 2021 brand refresh.

“The Belk College’s nationally ranked MBA program has a long history of success, with the majority of alumni living and working in the region,” said Reginald Silver, Belk College associate dean for graduate programs and executive education. “As we expand to offer an online MBA option, we wanted to highlight our own successful alumni, as they know firsthand the value and quality of our programs.”

The campaign, under the tagline “Drive What’s Next,” includes digital and print advertising. The campaign debuted with ads featuring Tyrone Davis ’16 MBA, with additional ads in the series planned throughout the summer.

To support the campaign, photo and video shoots were held on campus in January with MBA and other Belk College graduate programs invited to attend.

Charlotte MBA alumni featured in the campaign are:

  • Dave Stroud ’14 MBA
  • Chemere Davis ’14 MBA
  • Erica Redinbo ’16 Marketing, ’19 MBA
  • Tyrone Davis ’16 MBA
  • Robert Schaff ’14 MBA
  • Amparo Quispe-Velasquez ’13 Finance, Accounting, ’21 MBA

Charlotte graduate students featured in the campaign include:

  • Maryam Thomas ’21 Communications, ’22 M.S. in Management
  • Ebuka Ngwadom ’21 Finance, ’23 MBA
  • Krishna Rathod ’20 Marketing, ’22 MBA
  • Samuel Ocran ’20 Communications, ’22 M.S. in Management

Spotlights featuring Davis and other students and alumni will be featured over the next year.
