The Belk College of Business will have a special presence at the 49er Tailgate Village on Sept. 10 to celebrate Belk College Day. An annual tradition, Belk College Day is a celebration to bring our alumni and friends together to cheer on the Charlotte 49ers.
Here are three reasons Business Niners should return to campus for Belk College Day:
1. Connection to athletics
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a lot of momentum behind the Charlotte 49ers. UNC Charlotte is joining the American Athletic Conference in 2023 after accepting its invitation to join the conference in fall 2021. The move represents another facet of the University’s success on and off the field.
2. Network with fellow alumni
The Belk College of Business has a strong network of more than 36,000 alumni, with the majority of those graduates living and working in the Charlotte region. Belk College Day is an excellent opportunity to meet other Business Niners enjoying the 49er Tailgate Village and connect with members of our Belk College Alumni Council.
3. Fun for the entire family
The 49er Alumni Tailgate is everything you love in a tailgate — food, beverages, music and fun! Attendees can expect family-friendly games, souvenir giveaways, game day-themed food stations, beer and wine, and performances by the “Pride of the Niner Nation” Marching Band and 49er cheerleaders.
