Belk College recognized among the best in the Carolinas and Southeast

UNC Charlotte’s Belk College of Business has been recognized as among the best in the Carolinas and throughout the Southeast by U.S. News and World Report in their 2023 rankings.

Among public business schools, the Belk College is ranked:

Belk College of Business Named a Best College 2022-2023 by U.S. News & World Report

  • Top three in North Carolina
  • Top five in both North and South Carolina
  • Top 25 in the Southeast

The yearly national rankings are based on a survey of deans and senior faculty at AACSB-accredited peer institutions.

With more than 4,000 students enrolled in nine undergraduate majors for the fall 2022 semester, the college offers one of the largest and most diverse undergraduate business programs in the two states.

“The recognition of the strength of our college by our peers is a testament to the expertise of our faculty and staff and the accomplishments of our students and alumni,” said Dean Jennifer Troyer. “We are committed to providing an exceptional and accessible education that prepares our graduates to be leaders in industry and in their communities.”

UNC Charlotte rose eight spots in the 2022-23 U.S. News & World Report rankings for undergraduate colleges and universities, which were released Monday, Sept. 12. The University ranks No. 61 among national universities in the publication’s “Best Colleges for Undergraduate Education” listing.
