Sharon Bailey

Sharon Bailey has over 15 years of experience in administrative roles, including accreditation, assessment, institutional research, curriculum and faculty coordination, communications, and advancement, at public and private universities, both in the US and abroad. Prior to that, she was a faculty member of English at Eastern Kentucky University and an instructor of English at Universität Flensburg. She is passionate about seeing the big picture of how faculty, student support professionals, and administration work together to create an environment where students can learn. The most fun she ever had writing a compliance document was for SACSCOC Standard 13.8, because she could go deep into the weeds of insurance policies, continuity of operations plans, and toxic waste disposal contracts. She moved to the Piedmont region in 2022 and hopes to never leave it again.
